well our departure day is here- really strange thinking that in 2 days time we will be in Melbourne Australia
All the planning is done bags packed passport ready - all sorted
Strange not going with malcolm but off with Gill a great guiding friend of mine- It will be so good to catch up will all of my Australian friends- including Andre & Loraine who we met up with in Copenhagen in August !
have not seen Rosie in Melbourne for 12 years since we visited last and then to spend time with Michelle in Tasmania will be great
All of these friends where made at Witan 92 a scout camp in Denmark- just shows how Girl Guiding makes the world a very small place
Our Final destination will be Sydney and a catch up with an old school friend Andy and his family
The holiday will go quickly but I am sure we will be packing as much in as possible & am sure there will be plenty of time for afternoon tea somewhere!
I will try & post something on here as well as facebook for those of you not on social media so you can see a little of what we are getting up to-
Flights leaves tonight at 9.50pm from Heathrow and following a stop over in Hong Kong will be arriving in Melbourne at 8.30am Thursday morning so will check in again later in week
